Vivian kept a pleasant look on her face as several people came to greet her. It wasn't unusual for this to happen, after all she was Pastor Al's wife. She let out a breath. The Pastor Al who seemed to have no weakness; the Pastor Al who always knew the right thing to say; the Pastor Al who had a loyal group of followers—or so it seemed until Chike tried to divide the church; the Pastor Al whose smile could light up a room. She crossed her legs. Unfortunately, he was the same Pastor Al who didn't realize when his wife almost lost their baby. He was the Pastor Al who… "Excuse me, ma." She looked up. "Pastor has more people waiting to see him today. He might not be done until late in the evening." She managed a smile.
