Everyone, except Araye, looked forward to the crown prince's arrival. Despite her disinterest, she didn't expect that the crown prince would be her trial—the beginning of her trials.

Araye's father is the keeper of the “secrets to the gate”, an ancient scroll that contains the details of Eritonia's impenetrable walls. When Prince Dovian discovers that her betrothed is not who he claims to be, and only wants her for the scroll, he offers to marry her to save her and the kingdom. She refuses, prompting him to seek assistance from Romike, a clever but deceitful lady.

Things get complicated as everything Prince Dovian does to stop the wedding fails. When Araye finally discovers the truth, hearts have been broken and hopes shattered. Staying true to her heart would be her only way out.

    This book was amazing!!!!!! I loved it. I can't wait to read the series. I loved how "love" was shown and expressed despite what happened, how God was incorporated and how morals and vows were kept. I'm looking forward to reading the others. I found it on smashwords and came to your blog looking for the others lol. I loved your other ebooks too! They were great. I just kept on! lol I read all expect perfect mistake because I hadn't realise it was the first when I came across them. Keep it up, God bless you!! <3
